How to Reach Mottarone

  • By car: You can reach the summit via the Strada Panoramica Borromea, a toll road that starts from Stresa and offers spectacular views along the way.
  • By cable car (currently not in service): In the past, there was a cable car that connected Stresa to Mottarone, offering a scenic journey with a view of the lake.
  • By foot or mountain bike: For the more athletic, Mottarone is also accessible via trails starting from Stresa, Gignese, or Alpe Selviana.
